Young Actors Summer Theatre Workshop

The Indie on Main is offering a 4 week Summer Youth Theatre Workshop for kids 11-16 years old. Aspiring young actors are invited to join the 2018 Summer Theatre Workshop beginning June 26th through July 19th.  A live performance follows on Saturday July 21st and Sunday, July 22nd.   Classes will meet every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm.  In the workshop actors will learn acting and theatre stage craft by creating their own on-stage characters with direction in scripting, stage acting, dance, costuming, make-up, scenery, and lighting. A $45 registration fee is required with the Application. A maximum of 14 participants will be invited to join the 2018 workshop. Those not accepted will be refunded the entire application fee. Several scholarships are available for those needing assistance in order to participate in the workshop. Applications available on Facebook, and at The Indie On Main, 15 N. Main Street, Keyser, WV.
